… to First Presbyterian Church of Harvard’s Website!
We are a church rich in history in the Harvard Community since 1868; we take pride in our heritage. Members attaining 50 years and more of membership are recognized and honored every summer for their devotion and dedication to God. The longest continuous membership at First Presbyterian Church of Harvard is currently 75 years.
We are a truly caring group of Christians and we welcome you to visit our events calendar, download our monthly newsletters, check out activities, and get to know us.
Pastor Claire Brennecka continues with her pastoral duties to the church of serving communion, visiting our shut ins and our ill, leading Worship, and preforming weddings, funerals, and baptisms. Pastor Claire Brennecka began her ministry in Harvard at our church in May 2017. Claire works closely with all the committees of the church. One of her favorite activities at church is working with the children, especially through the “Kids’ Club” held every Wednesday during the school year, leading the Communicants’ Class and heading up the Harvard Christmas Program.
As of February 11, 2018 we have 2 Worship Services. Saturday night is a more relaxed crowd beginning at 5 pm. Sunday School is on Sundays at 9 am and Sunday Worship begins at 10 am. Sunday’s Worship Service is a combination of a contemporary and traditional Worship which includes our Praise Band. At special services our Adult Choir and Bell Choir sometimes perform. We hold a Fellowship Time following Sunday’s Worship service.
